About us

The George C. Wadleigh Foundation, Inc. provides financial assistance to nonprofit organizations that serve the aged indigent and the indigent of Haverhill Massachusetts and the Greater Haverhill (Groveland, West Newbury and Merrimac) Massachusetts area.

The Foundation’s priorities are:

• FIRST – The aged indigent of Haverhill Massachusetts.
• SECOND – The aged indigent of the Greater Haverhill (Groveland, West Newbury and Merrimac) Massachusetts area.
• THIRD – The indigent of Haverhill Massachusetts and the Greater Haverhill (Groveland, West Newbury and Merrimac) Massachusetts area.

The George C. Wadleigh Foundation, Inc. annually distributes its income to qualified nonprofit organizations serving the above noted priorities. The Foundation’s annual funding cycle begins with the receipt of funding requests which are due on or before August 1. Funding requests that are accepted by the Foundation’s Board of Directors will be funded at the end of December.
